Area Director of Marketing - Cairo, Egypt

Our partner, a leading hotel group in Egypt, is looking for an Area Director of Marketing to oversee all properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional marketing strategies aligned with overall commercial and revenue objectives
  • Lead brand positioning, communication, and visibility across all properties
  • Drive digital marketing, performance marketing, and CRM strategies
  • Oversee content, social media, PR, and campaign management across markets
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue, and Operations teams to ensure alignment
  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets and ROI performance
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to refine strategies
  • Lead and mentor marketing teams across multiple locations
  • Support pre-opening and repositioning strategies where required
  • Build strong partnerships with agencies, media, and key stakeholders

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in marketing within hospitality or a related sector
  • Previous experience in a cluster / multi-property role is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of luxury or upscale hotel marketing dynamics
  • Proven track record in brand development and revenue-driven marketing strategies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
