Area Director of Marketing - Cairo, Egypt
Our partner, a leading hotel group in Egypt, is looking for an Area Director of Marketing to oversee all properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional marketing strategies aligned with overall commercial and revenue objectives
- Lead brand positioning, communication, and visibility across all properties
- Drive digital marketing, performance marketing, and CRM strategies
- Oversee content, social media, PR, and campaign management across markets
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue, and Operations teams to ensure alignment
- Manage and optimize marketing budgets and ROI performance
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to refine strategies
- Lead and mentor marketing teams across multiple locations
- Support pre-opening and repositioning strategies where required
- Build strong partnerships with agencies, media, and key stakeholders
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in marketing within hospitality or a related sector
- Previous experience in a cluster / multi-property role is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of luxury or upscale hotel marketing dynamics
- Proven track record in brand development and revenue-driven marketing strategies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
