Executive Pastry Chef – Doha, Qatar

Our partner, a well-established restaurant group in Doha, Qatar, is looking for an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to oversee its pastry operations, lead creative development, and ensure exceptional quality and consistency across its restaurant portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all pastry and dessert operations across the group's restaurants
Develop innovative pastry concepts, dessert menus, and signature creations aligned with each restaurant's identity
Ensure consistent quality, presentation, taste, and execution across all outlets
Lead, manage, and inspire pastry teams, ensuring high standards of performance and productivity
Establish and implement standardized recipes, production procedures, and operational guidelines
Monitor food costs, manage budgets, and ensure effective control of ingredients and inventory
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
Work closely with Executive Chefs, Head Chefs, and restaurant management teams to coordinate menu development and operational requirements
Conduct regular quality checks and ensure consistency in production and presentation
Identify new trends, techniques, and ingredients to continuously elevate the group's pastry offerings
Manage pastry production planning and ensure efficient operations across all locations
Train, mentor, and develop pastry teams to maintain high professional standards

Candidate Profile

Minimum 7–10 years of professional pastry experience within high-end restaurants, luxury hotels, or premium hospitality groups
Previous experience as an Executive Pastry Chef, Corporate Pastry Chef, or Head Pastry Chef overseeing multiple outlets
Strong expertise in modern pastry techniques, plated desserts, fine dining desserts, and contemporary pastry concepts
Proven experience in menu development, recipe standardization, and large-scale pastry operations
Good command of English; additional languages would be an advantage
International hospitality experience is highly preferred
